I am an Assistant Professor of Writing and First-Year Studies at Stockton University. My areas of interest include digital rhetoric, writing in the public sphere, rhetorical circulation, developmental reading and writing pedagogy, and genre theory.
My current project is a book titled The New Information Warriors: Rhetoric, Writing, and Social Change in the Digital Age. This project examines the ways that everyday writers catalyze social change through the use of networked technologies. Focusing on emerging practices of amplification, coordination, and strategic messaging, this project considers the rhetorical dimensions of these practices as well as their historical roots in the domains of marketing, political campaigning, and information warfare.
